Beauty & Seoul
When I first visited Seoul as a Korean adoptee, I was determined to find something that I could connect with, but I didn’t speak the language and I didn’t feel Korean. After my unsuccessful birth family search, I threw myself in writing a blog and Instagram about Korean skincare which acted as a welcome distraction. I had always been interested in skincare but this was something more than that. Discovering KBeauty enabled me to finally enjoy a piece of my motherland. For me, it was a link to my birth country; something to be proud of that made me connect with fellow Koreans. Beauty & Seoul was born, and will always remain a project from the heart.

Bliss Point Balance
From convenience foods packed with toxic chemicals to unsafe “quick fixes” for physical ailments, many of us are living in a world that is keeping us unwell. Being a KAD is challenging enough so it is my mission as a Health and Wellness coach to help my fellow adoptees to reclaim/discover their physical vitality by exploring the obstacles holding us back from living a life of optimal health and wellbeing. The challenges from my own health journey stemmed from being a KAD, so please know you’re not alone in your struggle. Together we will explore your health concerns, primary goals and challenges, then create your own unique plan enabling you to live your best life.

Hyesun House Make-Your-Own Makgeolli
Hyesun House (hey-sun haus) is an exploration of Korean tradition. While makgeolli is the oldest alcoholic beverage in Korea, it is largely unknown and unavailable in Western markets. Hyesun House blends modern style with centuries of wisdom to bring makgeolli to the masses.

Kindred Post
Post offices, at their core, connect us to each other. In 2014, artist/activist Christy NaMee Eriksen founded Kindred Post in an attempt to use this practice of connection as a tool for social justice. As a post office we explore and cherish our interdependence. We value being in healthy relationship with ourselves, with each other, and with the world. We strive to cultivate a sense of belonging in our neighborhood and beyond.
We are a BIPOC-, woman-, and locally-owned small business. When you shop at Kindred Post you support our team, our artists, our families, and our communities.

MeeSunCreations
Annyeonghaseyo 안녕하세요! I am a Korean Adoptee (KAD) who was raised in the Midwest (USA) and have connected with my Korean identity and culture within the last few years. My Korean name is Mee Sun 미선. I live in Minnesota with my husband and our 11-year-old kitty.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share this journey with you through my creations. My favorite items to design are Korean themed tea towels/flour sack towels, and especially love to mix in punny sayings with a nod to 90s & early 2000s jams. I also enjoy making stickers, and have just started designing hats!
